This unique sterling silver monaural stethoscope stands at 7 inches tall and is fully functional, crafted solid sterling silver. The hallmarks reveal it was produced in 1894 by James Crichton & Co., based in Edinburgh. The sterling silver stethoscope disassembled features a hallmark of 1894, with a thistle indicating pure silver, castles representing Edinburgh, and JC&Co signifying James Crichton & Co.
